Drug Formulation

1 liang of white aconite root (roasted), 1 liang of Acorus tatarinowii (hairs removed), 1 liang of Polygala tenuifolia (core removed, boiled in licorice water for 10 boils), 1 liang of Gastrodia elata, 1 liang of whole scorpion (stir-fried in wine), 1 liang of Notopterygium incisum, 1 liang of white silkworm pupae (stir-fried), 1 liang of Pinellia ternata (marinated in ox bile; if unavailable, simply roast), and half a liang of Aquilaria agallocha.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using wheat flour paste, and coat with cinnabar as needed.
