Drug Formulation

Fish Maw (stir-fried with clam powder until no sound is heard; remove the clam powder; add a small amount of butter and stir-fry again) 1 jin; Dodder Seeds (boiled in wine and water until formed into cakes, then sun-dried) 2 liang; Genuine Beishayuan (stir-fried through paper) 3 liang; Genuine White Lotus Stamen 3 liang; Angelica Root (washed with wine) 3 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, washed down with hot water in the early morning; suitable for both men and women. For those over 20, take up to 4 liang to conceive; for those in their 30s, take up to half a jin; for those in their 40s, take up to 1 jin; for those in their 50s, take up to 1 liang; for those in their 60s, taking more may still result in conception.

Note

Avoid fish, mutton, and alcohol. While taking this medicine, preserving one’s vital essence is paramount: those under 20 should engage in sexual intercourse once every five days; those in their 30s, once every ten days; those in their 40s, once a month; and those in their 50s, once a season—the longer the interval, the better the results.
