Drug Formulation

2 liang of pig lard from the twelfth lunar month, 2 liang of pine resin (boiled and drained to obtain the clear, white residue), 2 liang of beeswax (boiled and thoroughly purified), and 5–6 liang of clear sesame oil.

Simmer over low heat until it forms a paste.

Instructions for Use

First, wash away the old medication with warm water, pat dry, cut a large circle of paper, apply the ointment to it, and cover the sore. If itching occurs, do not touch it; this is due to the raw meat in the ointment. Change the dressing once a day.
