Drug Formulation

2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 liang of Cyperus rotundus (roasted), 1 liang of Panax ginseng, 1 liang of Amomum villosum, half a liang of Clove (roasted), half a liang of Barley malt, half a liang of Myristica fragrans (baked), half a liang of White cardamom, half a liang of Aquilaria agallocha, half a liang of Citrus aurantium, 1.5 liang of Glycyrrhiza uralensis (roasted), 2.5 qian of Pinellia ternata (soaked in boiling water 7 times),Agastache 7 qian and a half, Magnolia Bark (stir-fried with ginger) 7 qian and a half, Shenqu (stir-fried) 2 qian and a half, Cardamom 2 qian and a half, Agarwood 7 qian and a half, Dried Tangerine Peel 7 qian and a half (one version omits Cloves and White Cardamom, and includes Angelica dahurica and Areca nut, each 0.5 liang).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each 4 qian dose, use 2 large bowls of water, add 3 slices of fresh ginger and 1 jujube, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, strain, and take while hot.
