Drug Formulation

Gypsum (crushed) 1 liang, Ephedra (roots and nodes removed) 1 liang, Bupleurum (stems removed) half a liang, Ginseng half a liang, Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 1 fen, Licorice (roasted) 1 fen, Pueraria root (chopped) 2 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, with 1 zhan of water. Add scallions, fermented soybeans, and fresh ginger; decoct until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take while hot, regardless of the time of day.
