Drug Formulation

1 jin of Coptis (stems and roots removed), 1 pig’s large intestine (washed clean; place the Coptis inside and boil for 1 day, then sun-dry), 2 liang of Angelica sinensis (washed with wine), 2 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong (soaked in wine), 2 liang of Paeonia lactiflora, 2 liang of Rehmannia glutinosa (washed with wine), 1 pair of pig’s hooves (washed clean, then roasted with ghee).
