Drug Formulation
Aconite Root (roasted, with skin and pith removed) 1.5 liang, Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine overnight, then baked) 1.5 liang, Cinnamon Bark (with coarse outer bark removed) 1.5 liang, Poria (peeled) 1.5 liang,Red Pepper 1.5 liang, Schisandra 1.5 liang, Fennel (roasted) 1.5 liang, Trifoliate Orange Peel (soaked in hot water to remove pith, then roasted with wheat bran) 1.5 liang, Ginseng (root tip removed) 1.5 liang, Prepared Rehmannia Root (washed, then baked) 1.5 liang.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; next, take 4 liang of high-quality goat meat (finely chopped), 2 liang of Cistanche (washed, finely chopped), 2 liang of goat fat (finely chopped), 2 liang of beeswax (finely chopped), 2 liang of almonds (peeled and tips removed, roasted and chopped), and 1 liang of dried black plum pulp,3 liang of scallion whites. Place these seven ingredients in a silver vessel with 5 sheng of wine, simmer over low heat until the meat is tender, grind into a paste, mix with the previously prepared powder, and pound together to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 30 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 40–50 pills. Take on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with warm wine or salted water; for pulmonary atrophy with hemoptysis, take with a decoction of glutinous rice and donkey-hide gelatin.
