Drug Formulation

Chuanxiong, Chuanwu (peeled and tips removed), Caowu (peeled and tips removed), Bai Zhi, Bai Fuzi, Hei Fuzi (peeled and navel removed), Xixin (leaves removed, washed), Banxia (washed), Tiannanxing (washed), and Tianma—all in equal parts.

Processing

Grind all the above ingredients into a fine powder. For every 20 liang of the mixture, add 20 liang of wheat flour, mix thoroughly, and form into pills the size of a marble using a few drops of water; dry them in the sun.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, chewed and swallowed with tea or wine; it may also be taken with Schizonepeta and mint tea. For common colds or typhoid fever accompanied by dizziness and headache, chew the pill together with 1 stalk of raw green onion and swallow it with hot tea, regardless of the time of day.
