Drug Formulation

Muxiang 1 fen; Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 1 piece; Areca Nut (chopped) 1 liang; Cardamom (peeled) half a liang; Dried Ginger (roasted) half a liang; Cinnamon Bark (with coarse outer bark removed) half a liang; Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked) half a liang; Nutmeg (shell removed) half a liang; Fennel Seeds (roasted) half a liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; make pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a paste of flour boiled in vinegar; coat with cinnabar.
