Drug Formulation

3 liang of large black plum pulp, 5 seeds of croton (with skin, shell, and membrane removed).

Processing

Using 2 bowls of water in an earthenware or stone vessel, simmer the black plum over low heat until thoroughly softened. When the liquid has reduced slightly, add the croton seeds. Stir with a bamboo whisk until the mixture resembles dry paste, then remove from heat. Spread it out to cool, grind into a fine paste, and roll into pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use
