Instructions for Use

Take 8 fen of a zhan as one dose. Grind the musk into a fine powder and mix thoroughly. Warm a silver bowl (or soup bowl) over hot water. Use silk or cloth to tightly bind the patient’s epigastric region and stomach opening. Wait until the patient begins to pant; while the mixture is still hot, loosen the binding. As the patient takes 1–2 breaths, administer the medicine immediately. Before administering the medicine, instruct the patient to eat some plain white congee to alleviate any discomfort.After taking the medicine, have the patient eat the congee immediately. Remarkably effective.
