Drug Formulation

Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice water overnight, sliced, and roasted) 2 liang; aged tangerine peel (soaked in hot water to remove the white pith, then roasted) 1 liang; Saposhnikovia root 1 liang; Ephedra (roots and nodes removed, boiled in water, scum skimmed off, and roasted dry) 1 liang; Angelica sinensis (sliced and roasted) 1 liang;Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Poria (black skin removed) half a liang, Evodia (washed, dried, and stir-fried) half a liang, Ginseng half a liang, Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, roasted with ginger juice) half a liang, Notopterygium (root tip removed) half a liang.

Processing

Except for the cinnamon bark, coarsely chop the remaining ingredients, stir-fry over low heat until golden, then add the cinnamon bark and grind them together into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 1 zhan of water, 1 cun of scallion white, and 2 slices of ginger; decoct until reduced to 6 fen; strain and take while warm, regardless of the time of day.
