Drug Formulation
8 liang of fresh Perilla, 8 liang of fresh Burdock, 4 liang of fresh White Impatiens, 8 liang of green onions (with roots), 8 liang of fresh Smilax glabra, 8 liang of fresh Peppermint, 8 liang of fresh Xanthium (for the above 7 ingredients, use the entire plant—leaves, stems, and roots—soak in 10 jin of sesame oil for 10 days; decoct until dry, strain out the residue, and let cool; add the following ingredients after 4 days), 1 liang of Blue Fangfeng,Schizonepeta 1 liang, Safflower seeds 1 liang, Wood Fragrance 1 liang, Sichuan Aconite 1 liang, Chinese Angelica 1 liang, Gastrodia 1 liang, Pangolin Scale 1 liang, Dried Tangerine Peel 1 liang, White Angelica 1 liang, Sichuan Lovage 1 liang, Forsythia 1 liang, White Mustard Seed 1 liang, Cassia Bark 1 liang,Wuyao 1 liang, Cao Wu 1 liang, Jiangcan 1 liang, Tiannanxing 1 liang, Guizhi 1 liang, Da Huang 1 liang, Bai Lian 1 liang, Chi Sha 1 liang, Sheng Banxia 1 liang, Qing Pi 1 liang,Dandelion 1 liang, Blue Frankincense 1 liang (boil until charred, remove the dregs; boil until a drop of water forms a bead; add 7 liang of Cinnabar; reduce to a paste over low heat; while still warm, add the following herbs), Processed Cassia Bark 3 liang, Roasted Frankincense 1 liang, Myrrh 1 liang, Amber 2 liang, Rutaceae 2 liang, Clove Oil 4 liang, Storax Oil 4 liang, Dangmenzi 3 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly into the paste, and store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use
To use, melt the mixture over a water bath and apply topically. It should be prepared in late summer; the ointment must be boiled until thoroughly thickened. If it becomes too thick, add Suhe oil as needed.
