Drug Formulation

100 sheets of Hangzhou Gao Bai oil paper, 8 liang of raw licorice.

Processing

First, add 15 bowls of clean water to the licorice and simmer until reduced to 6–7 bowls; strain out the residue, then simmer again until reduced to 3–4 bowls of concentrated liquid. Divide the paper into 4 pieces and place them in the pot, ensuring each piece is submerged in the liquid; simmer until the liquid has completely evaporated. Remove, let air-dry, and store for future use.
