For various deficiencies in men and women resembling exhaustion-related illnesses, take with Astragalus decocted in wine; for blood- and qi-related pain, roast the mixture until it crackles like a hammer being quenched, then take with wine; to stabilize the fetus before childbirth, take with vinegar broth; for postpartum ailments, take with wine or salted broth; for diarrhea before or after childbirth, take with rice water; for toothaches in men and women, rub half a pill on the affected area, then swallow with salted broth after a while;For blood-related chest oppression before or after childbirth, take with a child’s urine; for irregular menstrual flow, take with wine decocted with safflower; for postpartum wind-toxin causing sores or scabies, take with tea made from Chinese mint; for cold phlegm causing gastric reflux or heartburn, chew the pill dry and swallow: for women with chronic uterine cold, metrorrhagia, or red and white leukorrhea, mix a child’s urine, rice vinegar, and fine wine in equal parts, warm it, and take.
